The Magic of Monarchs with John Goldberg
Saturday, May 30th from 10:30am - noon

Step into the fascinating world of monarch butterflies with an engaging, family-friendly program designed for curious minds of all ages.
From tiny eggs to vibrant orange-and-black adults, you’ll discover the remarkable life cycle of monarchs and the incredible transformation they undergo. You’ll get an up-close look at each stage of their life cycle, from egg to adult—making it easy for both children and adults to connect with these iconic insects in a meaningful way.
We’ll also explore one of nature’s most awe-inspiring phenomena: the monarch migration, a multi-generational journey spanning thousands of miles. Along the way, you’ll learn how to support monarchs right here in northern Nevada by planting the flowers and milkweed they depend on. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a photographer, or simply looking for a memorable outdoor experience, this program invites you to observe, learn, and take part in helping monarch butterflies thrive.
This is a free event, but we kindly ask that you register.
