John L. Goldberg is a photographer based in Reno, Nevada, whose work captures the beauty, spirit, and wild character of the American West. His photography explores the landscapes, wildlife, and natural environments that define this region — from the rugged deserts to the high mountain basins.
John spends much of his time in the field, photographing throughout Nevada and California, including the Mono Basin, Eastern Sierra, Owens Valley, Lake Tahoe, and the vast Great Basin. His portfolio also extends across the Sonoran, Colorado, Mojave, and Chihuahuan Deserts of the Southwest.
His images have been featured in galleries, California state parks, corporate and government facilities, and a variety of public exhibitions. John’s work has also appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers, where his photographs continue to share the landscapes and light of the West with a wider audience.
